The Torque armored hoody feels heavier , but beaths better than the same style hoody (from a different manufacturer) I bought for my son.
It's more comfortable and cooler on those hot days, and has better features, such as zippered side pockets and an inner pocket too. It also has better armor that seems to fit your body more naturally. The Kevlar liner is stitched into the outer shell which, to me makes it more comfortable to put on and wear. My other one has a Kevlar liner, but it is only attached at the collar and wrist whixh makes it feel like a separate jacket under your jacket, a feeling I don't enjoy. I haven't tried them all, but I don't feel the need to try any others since I bought the Torque.
